A New Day

Heavenly Father,

This is the day that you have made, I will rejoice and be glad in it. I rejoice in you, my God. You are the source of life and the sustainer of the world. Even in the midst of your supreme majesty, you deign to make a new day for me. I am grateful for your care and love. Help me to use the gift of this day to glorify you. Transform me more and more into the image of Jesus. Purify me from my sins and renew my heart. Make yourself known to those who are lost and hurting. Fill the whole world with your spirit that we may experience a taste of the sweetness of heaven.
