Align

Heavenly Father,

There are many times when I know what is good, but I choose to do that which is evil. There are many times when I want to do good with my mind but desire to do evil in my heart. Change me, gracious father. Reorder my affections. Create in me unity between your will and the desires of my heart. By the power of your spirit, give me the self-control to do what I know is right. Teach me what your will is for my life. Show me how to follow your son in all my decisions. Fill me with an unshakable knowledge of your love and goodness that makes me desire to walk in your ways. And forgive me for the times I have failed to obey you. Free me from the shame that makes me feel unworthy of being with you. Thank you that I am forgiven.
