Busy Day

Heavenly Father,

I come to you this morning. My prayer is simple this morning, I need you. There are tons of things that need to be done and more things competing for my attention than I am even aware of. So I call on you. Give me a time of sweet rest with you. Meet with me and hold me in your arms. Help me not to rush through our special time together. Then sustain me through the day as I attend to the pressing matters. Help me to do everything as an act of worship to you. Do not leave me alone lest I fall into temptations of sloth. I thank you that you are faithful and exceedingly abundantly more than enough for even the most trying day. Like the manna for the Israelites, I ask for enough for today. I do not need to worry about storing you up, for there will be more of your presence tomorrow
