Certainty

Heavenly Father,

I am distracted, so I offer you praise. I am pulled in a thousand different directions, so I wait for you. The clutter of to-do lists and tasks makes it hard to think, so I am still. The earth trembles at the voice that spoke light into being. The heavens shake at your footsteps. You are steadfast, unchanging. In a world where it feels like everything is new every day, you are a rock of refuge and certainty. Let me cast my cares on you because you care for me. Give me peace and calm in the midst of the uncertainty. You provide the grace that I need today. Let me overflow with your compassion to those you place around me.
