Cleanse

Heavenly Father,

You abide in a state of complete perfection. There is no flaw within your infinite being. Though we are made in your image, we harbor many blemishes. Our character has defects, and our actions are sinful. Even our motives are impure when we try to do good. In this desperate state, we call out to you. Father, purify us. Cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Give us a right standing before you. Burn away the dross inside us that makes us choose sin over righteousness. We thank you that we have been made your sons and daughters. You have made us white as newly fallen snow. We ask that you help us live out of our new nature. Guide us to choose you and your righteousness.
