Confession

Heavenly Father,

Forgive me my sins. They are all around me, I feel their weight but not the desire to be rid of them. What desire I do have doesn’t lead to action. Teach me that You are better than any sin. Show me Yourself so that I could not believe that the lies of temptation. Fill me with a desire to be holy that I may be with you. Purge me of iniquity. You have given me the standing of Christ before you. Transform my day to day life to look more and more like him. Even now I feel the resistance to give up sins. While these words resonate in my spirit, my flesh does war against them. Crucify my flesh. I long to die to sin that I may live to you. Only you can save me. Help me, Father.
