Creation

Heavenly Father,

You have established the foundations of the earth. You set in place the heavenly bodies for us as signs of days, seasons, and years. By the power of your right hand did the land appear amid the many waters. You created the sky and filled it with flying creatures. You made the beasts that teem in the oceans, rivers, and streams. You made green plants to grow on the land to be food for the animals that live on the ground. You looked on the works of your spirit and declared it good. Then you crowned creation with the making of man in your very image and declared your creation very good. We worship you. As we advance in our understanding, the mysteries of your creation grow ever more profound. We are struck with awe when we consider the least part of your handiwork. To fathom its maker is a task beyond imagination. We are humbled in your presence. Let us take time to be still and know that you are God.
