Delight

Heavenly Father,

Praise the Lord, oh my soul and all that is within me. Bless the Lord and honor his holy name. Stir up my mind to think thoughts of his faithfulness through the years. Kindle my heart to passionate love, for he has loved me deeply and steadfastly. I rejoice that you are my God. My defender and rock in times of trial, I extol you. Thank you for your abiding mercy that covers all of my transgressions. As far as the east is from the west, so far have you removed my iniquity. Indeed, you have lavished blessings upon me. They are too numerous to count. I am moved to song by gratitude. You are perfection itself, the very definition of good. My entire being, body, spirit, and mind were designed to commune with you. Meet with me, majestic father. Bring heaven down to earth that I may be in your presence day and night. I delight in you.

In the only name given under heaven by which men can be saved. Amen.
