Doubts

Heavenly Father,

You are good. Your every action and thought are perfect in justice and love. I am but a man. Weak and conflicted, I need you desperately. Sometimes it is hard to reconcile all the evil I see in the world with a holy God. I know that many things are too wonderful for me to understand. Yet my unfulfilled desires bubble up into doubts. Fill me with child-like faith. Show yourself to be faithful and true. Remind me of all the times you have been faithful in situations epic and ordinary. Cast out all my misguided doubts. Fully occupy me. Fill me with your Holy Spirit that I may know the truth and be set free by it. I am weak and conflicted. I desperately need you.
