Faith

Heavenly Father,

I thank you for the gift of faith.  From the very beginning of man, Abel offered an acceptable sacrifice by faith.  I pray that I would offer up to you acceptable sacrifices.  We know without faith it is impossible to please you.  So fill me with faith to overcome all my doubts.  Like Noah, may I hear your voice and set myself to action that many may be saved.  I long to trust you more.  There are so many clouds of doubt in my heart.  Fix my eyes upon you that the radiance of your glory may burn away the clouds.  Leave me with only a naked intent to seek and find more of you.  I confess my unbelief leads to prizing comfort, pleasure, and distraction over obedience.  Draw me deep into fellowship with you.  Cleanse my feeble prayers with blood that they might be a pleasing aroma to you.  Pray for me the things that I need today.
