Faithful

Heavenly Father,

I thank you that you are faithful. You always come through on your promises. When I reflect, I can see myriad ways you work in my life. It is so easy to go through life and not realize all the ways you shower grace upon me. Help me to slow down and take stock of your wondrous gifts. May I come into your presence and give thanks to you. Show me your fingerprints in the clay of my life. I love you, father. Continue to walk beside me and direct my steps. Despite all I have experienced, life is full of temptations. I need your help to choose what is good over what is appealing. My flesh still longs to rebel against your glorious statutes. Each day, make me more and more into who you have called me to be. Give me a pure longing for the pleasures of you that would drown all the desires for that pleasures of this world.
