Fleeting

Heavenly Father,

Life is frail and fleeting. Our very existence is as a vapor. But you are a sure and steady rock. You never change from ages past to ages future. We can count on your steadfastness. I rest in your mighty arms. Preserve and protect me today. Let me delight in your presence. Send down your Spirit before me to prepare the way. May I enjoy this time that you have given me. Though trials come, I will put my hope in you. In the tumult, I cling to your everlasting provision. Assuage my doubt and unbelief. Meet me where I am, and bring me closer to yourself. May I love you more and more with each passing moment.
