Protector

Heavenly Father,

You are the God who took your people out of bondage in Egypt. The world around us recognizes your authority. Nothing can resist your power. You are worthy of praise, honor, and thanks. Fix our eyes on your glory. Drown out all distractions and hindrances that keep us from you. Let us know you and your love. Overwhelm our feeble human minds with your greatness. Increase our ability to understand your law so that the wisdom of this world will not deceive us. Keep us safe from the evil one. Do not allow us to fall into temptation.
