Hearing

Heavenly Father,

Open my eyes to you this morning. Clear away the fog from my mind that I may apprehend you clearly. You are truly wonderful, worthy of study and devotion. Speak to my spirit this morning. Let me hear your voice in your written word. May the passage I read come to life for me. Show me the truth of who you are that I may praise you in deeper and more meaningful ways. Show me the truth of who I am that I may thank you more profoundly for what you have done for me. Help me hear your voice of rebuke correcting the lies that I am living out. Transform me day by day more into the person you created me to be.
