Incongruent

Heavenly Father,

I know that you love me, but I confess that I so often do not feel loved. I know that you are faithful, but I confess that I do not step out boldly, trusting you to come through. I don’t act in accordance with the truths that I say that I believe. Lord, I believe help my unbelief. I long to live a life out of the truth, one that feels and experiences things exactly as they are. Until that becomes a reality, I ask you to sustain me. Let me rest on your word, your past faithfulness, and the little faith that I have.
