Justice

Heavenly Father,

You are a God of justice and of grace. Your ways seem contradictory to us. Yet each of your attributes is perfectly embodied in every one of your words and deeds. The world we are in so desperately needs you. We can see and feel that things are not as they should be. We thank you that you are working to bring about your will on earth. We would ask that you would invite us into your great project of redemption. Show us how you are moving that we may join with you. Fill our hearts with the compassion that you experience. Let us love our neighbors, made in your image. And let the love and compassion you give overflow into spontaneous actions. We long to be lights in the darkness we feel.
