Love

Heavenly Father,

You are ultimate holiness and greatly to be feared. There is no one above you. You envelop the earth with your presence. Send your spirit like rain drenching the mountains and filling the valleys. Let all those in this world be overwhelmed with you. Transform our fallen planet back to the paradise you saw was good. Write your law on our hearts so that there is no need to teach it. Inhabit our inmost being that we will live in perfect fellowship with you. Use us as instruments of your will in the cities you have placed us. May we act for the good of others as part of your perfect plan. Show us how to love you with all of our hearts, soul, mind, and strength. Cast out any shadows in our spirit with your divine light. Foster in us disciplines of prayer, the study of your word, fellowship with you, and loving our neighbor. Build up your body together in community that it would serve as a beacon in the dark world. May your love permeate us, the church, our community, and the world.
