Majesty

Heavenly Father,

I give you glory this morning. Your splendor dwarfs the majesty of the galaxies. Every facet of your character is perfect. You are unchanging from days before time till long after the end of the age. You understand all mysteries. All the things too wonderful for the mind of man, you ordained and established. What is man that you are mindful of him? Why would you choose to make us in your image? We bear the stamp of the divine. At your command, we rule over creation. More than that, you pursue and rescue us from the pit. We are fellow heirs with your son. I am a man of unclean lips among a people of unclean lips. Yet you bring a lump of coal to my tongue that I may be your mouthpiece to the world. Truly I do not fathom it. If I waited until I understood your ways, I would never act. I can but choose to believe you and live out the truth you reveal. So I ask that you would expand my mind to comprehend more of your word each passing day. I ask that you would expand my heart so that I might feel more of your love. I ask that you would refine my spirit so that I may walk with you more nearly. I ask that you would glorify yourself throughout the nations.
