New Life

Heavenly Father,

Teach me to praise your holy name. Fill my mind with the glorious works of your hand. May thanksgiving overflow from my heart, flooding my soul. You are the only God, there is none beside you. You have made me in your image, and I am yours. You have directed the steps of my life to lead me to this moment. At this time, I choose you. May I be consumed with zeal for the glory of your name. Protect me from temptations to stray away from you. Fan the flames of love that I may fulfill the two great commandments. Show me where you are working around me that I may come alongside and be used by you. Continually refine my mind and heart, making me more like your son. Give me wisdom and the desire to follow it. Make me quick to forgive those who wrong me and quick to let go of things that annoy me. Father, you are truly God. The whole world is yours.
