Obedience

Heavenly Father,

Banish all impurity from my heart. Let no veil block my inner gaze of you. Fill me with a desire to follow you in all things. With a renewed mind and s new heart by your grace, I will choose to obey you. When it gets hard, and temptation comes, come to me to strengthen and sustain me. I long to know the fellowship of a close and consistent walk with you. Show me the tools you have given me to overcome carnal desires: the friends you have given me, the gift of your word, the empowering Holy Spirit. Make me into the man you have called me to be.
