Overflow

Heavenly Father,

Nothing is flowing this morning. I search my mind and heart and find them dry. I do not know what to offer up to you. I am reminded of my need for you. Without you, I am lost and powerless. I so often chose to live that way. Draw me to yourself. Expel the desire for independence from you. May I rejoice in your presence. I confess the hardness of my heart. I am not seeking you with my entire being. Teach me that you love me. Show me the height, depth, and breadth of your perfect love. Pour out your love that I would overflow with love to all those you have put around me. Remind me of your goodness that I may abound in gratitude. Transform me into the person you are calling me to be.
