Overshadow

Heavenly Father,

You rule and reign in heaven and earth. None can stand against your will. Overcome my resistance to following you. I find myself pulled in dozens of different directions. I wander away sometimes absent-mindedly and sometimes deliberately. Bind my heart to yours. I confess that so often, I am far from you. I have the choice to be in your presence moment by moment, yet I still drift. Forgive my disobedience and restore the joy of being with you. May you overshadow all worldly pleasures.
