Reluctant

Heavenly Father,

My heart doesn’t feel like praise this morning. Bring to mind your glorious deeds that they would spur to praise and thanksgiving. From days of old, you have saved your people. You would not allow Balaam to curse Israel; in fact, he blessed them. You provided for your prophets in days of famine. You gave victory to your people in battle. You sent your son to live and die among us lowly humans. I thank you that you provide for me. I do not lack food or shelter. You protect me from so many trials and even inconveniences. You have blessed me with family and friends to comfort and strengthen me. I am grateful to you.

In the name above every name. Amen.
