Rescue

Heavenly Father,

We glory that you are a God who rescues. From the ancient time of Noah, Joseph, and Moses. To your workings through Nehemiah, Esther, and Ezra. Your faithfulness truly stretches from before time till the future beyond our reckoning. We ask you only to continue to be yourself and save those in need. We cry to you, Help Lord, and whatever our circumstances, you come to rescue. We are in bondage to sin and need you to break our chains and set us free. We are trapped in situations by the fallenness of the world around us. We ask you to set us free and see yourself glorified. And we ask you to save those around us who are in desperate need of you, rule and overrule that you might bring a piece of your kingdom down to earth.
