Restoration

Heavenly Father,

My frail body betrays me. It falls victim to sickness and exhaustion. I am reminded of my weakness and dependence on you. I lack the strength to do the things that I would do. Apart from you, I can do nothing good. So I pray for healing. I pray for energy. I pray for strength. Bring restoration to my body as you have to my soul. Remove the pain that plagues, the tiredness that hinders, and the annoyances that distract. I can perceive that this world is not as it should be. Transform this fallen place. By the power of your spirit, renew creation to its original designs. Come quickly. We await the final establishment of your kingdom. Give us both patience to wait and the will to work alongside you to bring about your will.
