Revelation

Heavenly Father,

You exist in complete perfection of joy and fellowship within the Godhead. We can but marvel at the absolute holiness and majesty of your being. You are entirely unknowable to created beings like us. And yet, you reveal yourself to us in real and tangible ways. Creation sings your praises and echos who you are. More galaxies than we could ever count shine forth their proclamations of your glorious power. More than that you give your written word. You express facets of your character and examples of your deeds in a form we can understand. We thank you for Scripture. Most of all you revealed yourself by sending your son to be a man. The image of the invisible God, the exact imprint of your nature walked among us. Words cannot express our gratitude. Let us not take any of your revelations for granted. I pray that we would delve deep into your creation, word, and above all your son.
