Seeking

Heavenly Father,

Oh God, you are my God. I seek after you as for water in the desert. My soul has needs that only you can fulfill. So I come into your presence this morning. Meet with me. Commune with my spirit. Make your glory pass before me so that I may become enthralled with you. You are better than any earthly thing. Overshadow the distractions and sins that so easily entangle. Help me to experience the freedom that comes from you. Be the center of my universe so that I may do everything today for your glory. Make each activity that I do a holy act of worship unto you. Protect me from the attacks of the evil one and my own flesh. Give me the mixture of desire and duty needed to overcome all temptation. I long to glorify and enjoy you today.
