A Good Sheep

Heavenly Father,

As high as the heavens are above the earth, so high are your ways than my ways. Help me grow into a loyal and trusting sheep of your flock. When life is confusing and I am overwhelmed, may I run into your loving arms. Any fleeting pleasure can catch my eye and cause me to wander off. Pull me back into the fold. Transform me as I walk beside you; conform me more and more to your image. Grant me the wisdom to know the paths to travel. Give me a focus on you that eschews worldly distractions. I have tasted and seen the sweetness of being in your presence. Allow me to feast always on you.
