Wellspring

Heavenly Father,

You are the living God who breathed life into all that lives. You are the wellspring of every good thing. From you flow rivers of love and grace. Let me position myself to be overwhelmed by your currents. May I drink deep from the streams of living water that I may thirst for them even more. Saturate me with your truth that I may discern that which brings you honor. Fill me with praises that overflow spontaneously from my mouth. Reveal an ever-increasing portion of yourself to me. May the eyes of my heart attune themselves to your glory. Give me an intense desire to follow the paths you have laid out for me to walk. When my desires are distorted, give me the self-control to not venture into sin and bring my heart back into alignment with you. Teach me that I am loved, that you value me, and that I am your son.
