Wisdom

Heavenly Father,

You are the fount of all wisdom. You make wise the simple. I pray for wisdom today. Meet with me and teach me your ways. Give me truths this morning to meditate on throughout the day. Renew my mind that discernment would become my first nature. Keep me away from sin and folly. Protect me from the wisdom of the world that permeates our society and is no wisdom at all. Let me not lean on my own understanding but acknowledge you in all my ways. Make my paths straight. Cause me to become quick to turn to you and slow to seek the counsel of the world. As you give me insight, also supply the desire to walk out of it. Conform my mind and life to the image of your great son.
