Worship Prayer

Heavenly Father,

I praise you this morning. Your name is holy. Every day your mercies are new. Each day you bring forth the sun to warm and sustain the world. Without you, there would be nothing. I am grateful that you have made me in your very image. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I am your special possession made to glorify you. You have brought me from death to life. I am indwelt by your spirit, empowered to live a new life of radical obedience and joy. I thank you, great father. And I acknowledge that I continue to need you. I have not been made to live apart from you. So keep me close to you. When I wander, draw me back into your presence. When I sin, forgive me and make me clean so that I may be a fit worshiper.
