Heavenly Father,

You are a generous and loving father. You have showered gifts on the righteous and the unrighteous according to your own counsel. I thank you this morning for the gift of your written word. It fills our minds with wisdom and our hearts with love. Strengthen my desire to meditate on your truth. Let me see it for the unequaled beauty it is. May the words I read provide fuel for the Holy Spirit to sanctify my life. The God-breathed word is waiting to be explored. Let me delve deep into its holy mysteries.
